Previous refusals
A refusal does not necessarily mean the same application should be resubmitted with more documents. First understand the decision-maker’s concern and whether the facts, evidence or requirements can be addressed differently.
Status restoration
Restoration may be available in some circumstances after temporary status is lost. It is not the same as maintained status, and consequences differ for visitors, students and workers.
Temporary Resident Permits
A Temporary Resident Permit is a discretionary mechanism that may be considered where a person is inadmissible or does not meet the Act. It is not a routine substitute for normal requirements.
Procedural fairness and misrepresentation
Concerns about credibility, documents, declarations or possible misrepresentation may have serious consequences. The concern, prior applications and evidence should be reviewed carefully before responding.
Admissibility issues
Criminality, medical inadmissibility, misrepresentation and other grounds require assessment of the specific legal ground and options. Trogon accepts only matters within its offered scope and professional competence.

I received a refusal. Should I just reapply?
Not necessarily. First understand the refusal reasons, the evidence before the decision-maker and whether anything material has changed or can be addressed.
